YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE IT'S A 3500 GALLON MAN-MADE WATERFALL...
This project has been in works for months and we are so excited by the result! We had the pleasure of working with Stonebridge Pond & Water Co. Eric, his family and staff are top notch - come by and check out the result. You will be amazed! Eric took a rough idea and applied his vision to create this beautiful, serene space.
The water feature is a peaceful spot to sit and listen to the water, let your dog splash around, lay on your yoga mat and perhaps even the perfect backdrop for an outdoor wedding!

THE SAFARI LODGES
The brand new Safari Lodges are sooo close to being complete!! We have teased you with some pictures, but just wait till you see the finished product! The craftsmanship, sleek and rustic design, and comfortable layout of the 3 room Glamping gem will blow you away. They will even have a private, 3 piece bathroom inside the Safari Lodge.
We know you all are eager to book, and we can't wait to have you check them out! These new Glamping options will feature a kitchenette, living area, separate bedroom, a private restroom, heat/AC and a large porch overlooking the park's secluded oak forest area and the waterfall.
NOW THAT'S GLAMOROUS CAMPING!
Safari Tents
Coming soon- brand new Safari Tents! They will be located across from the RV restroom and will be old tent sites 1, 2 & 3. These tents will be more primitive (and affordable than the Safari Lodges).
The new sites will be:
G9: Coyote Flats
G10: Deer Park
G11: Hawk Cove
Do you want a back to nature experience without having to mess with setting up a tent or sleep on the ground? We feel you. That's why we are also constructing safari tents with power for lights and phone charging, AC, heat, mini-refrigerator and coffee pot! All 3 face the waterfall and have a 6 ft porch to hang out. Stay tuned for more details
RV BATHROOM & LAUNDRY ROOM
Our RV restrooms and laundry facilities got a make-over! They now feature beautiful white tile. Check it out next time you visit us!
NEW MERCH
Speaking of next time you visit- check out our new merch in the office! We got some cool new MQ gear, including: SIlipints, patches, buttons, beanies. We have pint glass and wine tumbler Silipints, along with lids and straws, which will be perfect for sipping by the pool!

Everyone loves sitting outside enjoying a cold beverage and listening to some tunes. That's why we have extended the Music Under the Stars Series! This event typically only occurs during the summer months, but we are so excited to be offering more outdoor socially distanced concerts this spring! WINTER TEXANS NEWS
On Thursday, February 4th, the Winter Texans departed from Mystic Quarry at 8 am to San Antonio. We first ate breakfast at Guenther's house and enjoyed a ride down Mission Trail. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day- the sun was shining & birds chirping!

We would like to start by sending out a special THANK YOU and share our utmost appreciation for all the guests that visited Mystic Quarry in 2020. We are honored you trusted us to put the right procedures in place to keep you and your family safe and healthy during your stay. It has been our pleasure to offer an outdoor respite during some of the most difficult months.
Due to the uncertainty brought on by the pandemic, our new construction projects were delayed, but things are now starting to come to life. We have been slowly executing on most of those plans that will provide our guests an improved experience including more GLAMPING (glamorous camping) options.
The primitive tent area has the biggest makeover. We are moving our power and water tent sites to more secluded areas and opening the center area to become a beautifully treed park with games and plenty of areas to sit, listen and enjoy the newly built waterfall. The peaceful sounds are amazing!
The waterfall is finished, but much of the hardscaping and landscaping are still required. The timeline to complete most of this build is Memorial Day so we hope you will make a few trips out to see our progress.
We are vigorously working to wrap up the build of our Safari Lodges - we are so excited to roll them out. The workmanship and details on these customized Mystic Quarry gems are amazing and they will even have a 3-piece bathroom. We still need to install a new septic for the bathrooms located in the safari lodges and a new bathhouse coming in another roll out. We are hoping they will be fully operational by Memorial Day, but there may be an opportunity to get a preview with a discounted stay in April before the bathrooms are completed. Our septic is approved, so we are moving forward with the full bathroom when we open, so we will delay the opening until the first of May - so sorry!
And, we are also adding three new Safari Tents. These glamping units will be a fun experience under canvas with a tad less glam and more camp. These slightly smaller tents will have A/C, comfy furniture, a nice porch, and electricity.
We our very excited for our guests to come out and see all the changes. We have a wonderful line up of Music Under the Stars this summer along with many Austin, Texas food trucks.
Our partners at Shanty are back shuttling you to the river for tubing as well. There are plenty of reasons to plan your next adventure with us.
